The mission
Renault needed a motivational speaker to celebrate its apprentice graduates and send them off with practical career advice. An internal supplier had pulled out with only three weeks to go, so they also needed someone who could step in quickly.
Backstage prep
Alison's team turned the talk around at short notice, researching Renault's Alpine F1 heritage to make the content specific to the audience. The 45-minute session was interactive, built around the apprentices' own interests, with a Q&A.
The result
The session celebrated the graduates and kept them engaged throughout, with copies of Alison's book given away as prizes. Alison stepped into a last-minute gap and made the event her own.
